Bihar Head Master Vacancy Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification (Mandatory Eligibility):

1. Must be a citizen of India and a resident of Bihar state.
2. Should have passed post-graduation with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.
3. A relaxation of 05% in minimum prescribed marks for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Extremely Backward Class / Backward Class / Physically Handicapped / Women and Economically Weaker Sections will be provided.
4. The degree of Fazil awarded by Maulana Mazharul Haq Arabic and Persian University, Patna / Bihar State Madrasa Education Board and the degree of Acharya awarded by Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University will be considered equivalent to post-graduation.
5. Should have completed B.Ed. / B.A. Ed. / B.Sc. Ed. from a recognized institution.
6. Should have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test for teachers appointed in the year 2012 or later.
7. The aforementioned provision will apply to teachers appointed under the District Council / Municipal Corporation under the 2012 or later provision.
8. Eligibility for proficiency examination will be required for teachers appointed under the Panchayati Raj / Municipal Corporation institution before the year 2012.
9. There will be no provision for eligibility examination/qualification examination for working teachers in schools affiliated to various boards such as CBSE / ICSE / BSEB.

Experience:

1. Minimum 08 years of continuous service in the position of secondary teacher in schools under the Panchayati Raj institution and Municipal Corporation institution in the state government schools.
2. Minimum 12 years of continuous service in the position of secondary teacher in schools with permanent affiliation to CBSE / ICSE / BSEB.
3. Minimum 04 years of continuous service in the position of higher secondary teacher in schools under the Panchayati Raj institution and Municipal Corporation institution in the state government schools.
4. Minimum 10 years of continuous service in the position of higher secondary teacher in schools with permanent affiliation to CBSE / ICSE / BSEB.
