Bihar Head Master Vacancy Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification (Mandatory Eligibility):
- Must be a citizen of India and a resident of Bihar state.
- Should have passed post-graduation with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.
- A relaxation of 05% in minimum prescribed marks for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe / Extremely Backward Class / Backward Class / Physically Handicapped / Women and Economically Weaker Sections will be provided.
- The degree of Fazil awarded by Maulana Mazharul Haq Arabic and Persian University, Patna / Bihar State Madrasa Education Board and the degree of Acharya awarded by Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University will be considered equivalent to post-graduation.
- Should have completed B.Ed. / B.A. Ed. / B.Sc. Ed. from a recognized institution.
- Should have passed the Teacher Eligibility Test for teachers appointed in the year 2012 or later.
- The aforementioned provision will apply to teachers appointed under the District Council / Municipal Corporation under the 2012 or later provision.
- Eligibility for proficiency examination will be required for teachers appointed under the Panchayati Raj / Municipal Corporation institution before the year 2012.
- There will be no provision for eligibility examination/qualification examination for working teachers in schools affiliated to various boards such as CBSE / ICSE / BSEB.
Experience:
- Minimum 08 years of continuous service in the position of secondary teacher in schools under the Panchayati Raj institution and Municipal Corporation institution in the state government schools.
- Minimum 12 years of continuous service in the position of secondary teacher in schools with permanent affiliation to CBSE / ICSE / BSEB.
- Minimum 04 years of continuous service in the position of higher secondary teacher in schools under the Panchayati Raj institution and Municipal Corporation institution in the state government schools.
- Minimum 10 years of continuous service in the position of higher secondary teacher in schools with permanent affiliation to CBSE / ICSE / BSEB.
